About The Court Society

Two women playing doubles tennis together — The Court Society, a curated women's tennis and pickleball boutique in Stark County, Ohio

About

Curated, not crowded.

A women-owned tennis and pickleball boutique in Stark County, Ohio — hand-picking the pieces that are actually worth owning.

What we are

A boutique, not a department store.

The Court Society is a curated women's tennis and pickleball boutique founded in 2024 by Evrim Fulmer. We hand-pick every piece from fifteen boutique labels, plus our own house label, and ship to all fifty U.S. states.

We do not carry every brand. We carry roughly 110 active pieces at any given time — the ones our founder would wear to her own match, lesson, or watch party. If something does not earn its place, it does not go on the site.

Most women's court apparel falls into one of two camps: generic big-box activewear, or luxury labels priced past what any reasonable person wants to sweat in. There is very little in the middle — pieces that perform at the 3.5 level, look right at brunch afterward, and do not cost two hundred dollars a skirt. The Court Society is that middle.

Who is behind it

Founded by someone who started as a beginner.

"I picked up a racquet for the first time in 2021. I still don't think of myself as the best player on the court — and that turned out to be the whole point."

Evrim Fulmer founded The Court Society in 2024, three years after her first tennis lesson. She knows what it is like to stand in a dressing room with twelve near-identical tops and no idea which one is right, and what it is like to feel that the sport belongs to someone more advanced than you.

She built the boutique she wanted when she was starting out: a short, opinionated edit instead of an endless catalog, honest sizing notes, and a real person on the other end of the email. Every message to the shop reaches Evrim.

How we operate

Four things we will not trade away.

Hand-picked

Every piece is selected individually. No drop-shipped filler, no catalogs we have never touched.

Boutique pricing

Median piece is $89. Performance fabrics and boutique cuts without the luxury markup.

Real guidance

Free 15-minute styling sessions, honest fit notes, and a founder who answers her own email.

Free returns

Always free, within 30 days. We would rather you keep three pieces that work than ten that almost do.

Who we serve

Women who play, at every level.

Our customers play at country clubs, community courts, and USTA leagues across the United States — most between the 2.5 and 4.0 levels. They care about how a piece performs and how it looks, and they would rather buy from a boutique that has an opinion than a marketplace that has everything.

Beginners are not an afterthought here. They are the reason the shop exists.

You don't have to be perfect to own the court — you just have to show up.

— Own your game. Own the court.
