I started as a beginner.
I picked up a racquet for the first time in 2021. I was nervous, I was not good, and I almost did not go back. In 2024 I opened the shop I wish had existed that first week.
The dressing room almost stopped me.
Nobody quits tennis because the sport is hard. They quit because of everything around it. For me it was standing in front of twelve nearly identical tops, none of which told me whether I would look like I belonged on a court I was already nervous to walk onto.
I am still not the best player at my club. I am not close. What changed is that I kept showing up, and at some point the clothes stopped being a reason to hesitate. That is the entire idea behind this shop.
I only stock what I would wear.
There are about 110 pieces on this site at any given time, from fifteen boutique labels. That number is deliberate. I am not trying to carry everything. I am trying to carry the things I would wear to my own match.
It means the edit stays small, and it means I am occasionally sold out of the exact thing you wanted. I would rather that than a catalog full of near misses.

Fifteen labels. Most of them small.
I am asked fairly often why I do not carry the big names. This is why. Nearly everything here comes from a small house, and in several cases from women who started their label for the same reason I started this shop: they could not find what they wanted to wear.

Lara Evans and Kristin Nevins met through their daughters' school and became friends over tennis at Merion Cricket Club. They could not find a dress that was sporty and classic and still worked after the match, so they spent close to a year making one.
Runway Athletics
Austin, Texas · Made in Texas
Three longtime teammates — Jennifer, Shari and Mary — who live within a mile of each other in Austin. They registered the name in November 2020, during the shutdowns, and their anchor court skirt is manufactured in Texas.

The whole brand began with a single skort. They spent years testing it before releasing anything else, and only then expanded into tops. That is a level of patience you can feel in the waistband.

Founded by Roshe, previously a branding specialist for Lacoste, Tory Burch and the US Open. The line focuses on the social side of racquet sports — the towels, the barware, the after.

A family-owned resort-wear house. Every paddle is painted by their resident artist, Alle Osborne, who is the daughter of founder Kelly Wilkie. You will also find them in Ritz-Carlton Naples and a handful of island resorts.

Hand-beaded by a team of craftswomen in their Atlanta studio and with partners around the world, using glass seed beads and upcycled brass. Made by hand, so no two are quite identical.

We ship anywhere in the United States, all fifty states. So far our boxes have landed in thirty-two of them, plus Puerto Rico. Here is where they go most often.
Ohio is still our biggest market, which makes sense — this started on a Stark County court. But more than three quarters of our orders now ship outside Ohio, and the rest spreads across twenty-seven more states and Puerto Rico. Kentucky, Washington, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Massachusetts, and Tennessee are all close behind the top five.
