Cancellation policy

Cancellation and Purchase Policies for Subscriptions, Pre-Orders, and Try Before You Buy

At The Court Society, we strive to offer flexibility in your shopping experience. This policy outlines how you can change or cancel purchases related to subscriptions, pre-orders, and try-before-you-buy items. By engaging in these types of purchases, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Subscriptions

When you purchase a subscription, you agree to receive repeat deliveries based on the subscription duration and frequency you select at checkout.

  • Payment Terms:

    • Your payment details will be stored securely.
    • You will be charged for each delivery unless you choose to prepay for the full subscription in advance.

  • Auto-Renewal:

    • Some subscriptions may auto-renew at the end of their term. You will be notified prior to auto-renewal, and it is your responsibility to cancel before the renewal date if you do not wish to continue.

  • Cancellation:

    • You may cancel or modify your subscription at any time before the next delivery is processed.

  • Returns and Refunds:

    • Canceled subscription items are subject to our Returns Policy.

Pre-Orders

When you place a pre-order, you are purchasing a product that is out of stock or soon-to-be-available and not yet in our inventory.

  • Payment Terms:

    • Depending on the product, we may collect no payment, a partial deposit, or full payment at checkout.
    • If a deposit or partial payment is collected, your payment method will be securely stored, and the remaining balance will be charged once the product is ready to ship.

  • Cancellation:

    • You may cancel a partially paid pre-order that has not yet been fulfilled. To cancel, please contact us at evrim@thecourtsociety.net.
    • Fully paid or fulfilled pre-orders cannot be canceled but may qualify for a refund under our Returns Policy.

  • Refunds:

    • Refunds for canceled pre-orders will follow the terms outlined in our Returns Policy.

Try Before You Buy

When you select a try-before-you-buy item, you are agreeing to the following terms:

  • Payment Authorization:

    • Your payment method will be authorized but not charged when the order is fulfilled. The authorization will remain in place until the trial period ends.

  • Trial Period:

    • You will have a specified trial period (as indicated at checkout or in your order confirmation) to decide if you want to keep the item.

  • Final Payment:

    • If you do not return the item before the trial period ends, your payment method will be charged for the full purchase price.

  • Returns:

    • Returns for try-before-you-buy items are subject to our Returns Policy.

General Terms

  • Order Modifications:

    • Modifications, cancellations, or refunds for subscription, pre-order, or try-before-you-buy items must comply with the conditions stated in this policy.

  • Liability Disclaimer:

    • The Court Society is not responsible for delays, interruptions, or cancellations caused by factors outside of our control, including but not limited to supplier delays or payment authorization issues.

By completing a subscription, pre-order, or try-before-you-buy purchase, you acknowledge and accept the terms outlined above. The Court Society reserves the right to modify or update this policy at any time, with changes effective upon posting to our website.
